In love with Phuket

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand facing the Andaman sea, is a place with so many beautiful beaches and although in 2004 it was hit by the tsunami that occurred in the Indian Ocean, the city itself has slowly recovered and now is back to business, so we decided to visit it specially because a lot of people recommended it to us and because we needed to relax at the beach.
We also had the opportunity to visit this Thai cultural park in Kamala called Fantasea that is really good because you can watch a lot of elephants(Elephants are the national animal in Thailand) dance and you can also take a ride on them. There are also white tigers and tiger cubs you can take pictures with, along with amazing acrobats and Thai dancers.
Phuket es la isla más grande en Tailandia frente al Mar de Andaman, es un lugar con muchas hermosas playas y a pesar de que en el 204 fue azotada por el Tsunami que se produjo en el Océano Indico, la ciudad en si se ha ido recuperando y ahora esta de nuevo en apogeo, así que decidimos visitarla ya que nos la habían recomendado y además necesitábamos relajarnos en la playa que tanto nos gusta.
También tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar un parque cultural Tailandés en Kamala llamado Fantasea que es muy bonito porque se pueden observar a muchos elefantitos(el elefante es el animal nacional de Tailandia) bailar, ver a tigres blancos, y tomarse fotos con unos cachorritos tigres que son divinos, a parte de que puedes ver a muchos acróbatas y bailarines Tailandeses que son increíbles.
Fantasea is basically a park like Disney, obviously in a very small scale. There are shops, cafes, games and there is also a restaurant where they offer a buffet that is really, really bad so I think is a good idea to bring some snacks with you because the food is awful. But other than that, fantasea is a very nice place specially for kids.
I had the opportunity to take some pictures dressed as a Thai princess and that was pretty amazing, and the show was really good, they basically tell the story about the city with their dances and everything from the costumes to the music is really beautiful.
Fantasea es básicamente un parque de diversiones estilo Disney, pero por supuesto en mucha menor escala. Hay tienditas, cafes, jueguitos y también hay un restaurante en donde tienen un bufete que la verdad es bien malo, así que es buena idea llevar snacks o algo de comida porque comer ahí es pésimo. Pero a pesar de eso, Fantasea es un lugar muy bonito en especial para los niños.
Tuve la oportunidad de vestirme como una princesa Tailandesa y eso fue lindo porque es un recuerdo que me llevo conmigo. El show fue muy entretenido, básicamente el show trata acerca de la historia de la ciudad y todo desde el vestuario hasta la música fue maravilloso.
And this is how my trip to Thailand ends, I am leaving sad because as soon as I arrived into this wonderful country I fell in love with it. I need to come back, there are so many places that are like hidden gems in this country and also when it comes to Asian food I think Thai food is definitely one of the best, I loved everything they put in front of me, haha I love eating, what can I say?

Y así es como culmina mi visita a Tailandia, me voy triste porque apenas llegué a este país me enamoré de él. Necesito regresar, hay tantos lugares que son como piedras escondidas en Tailandia que hay que descubrir poco a poco, además en cuanto respecta a comida asiática creo que la gastronomía Tailandesa es una de las mejores, amé todo lo que me pusieron al frente, jeje
Que puedo decir, amo comer!

Pensaba en elogiar ese bañador tan chulo que luciste, pero he visto el vestido largo en rojo con complementos en dorado que luciste y he caído sin remedio a tus pies!
